Ashley Drake, M.D.

drake-web-largeDr. Drake has been practicing dermatology in Omaha since 2010.  Originally from Lincoln, Nebraska, she attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln earning her bachelor of science in Mathematics & Statistics and Biological Sciences.  Dr. Drake attended medical school at the University of Iowa.  She returned to Nebraska to complete her internship in internal medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.  Dr. Drake then completed her dermatology residency at the University of Iowa and is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology. 

Dr. Drake enjoys treating patients of all ages and practices general, laser, and cosmetic dermatology.  She provides comprehensive care of disorders of the skin, hair, and nails including, but not limited to, eczema, psoriasis, moles, skin cancer, warts, rosacea, rashes, and acne.  Dr. Drake has a special interest in teenage and adult acne, care of transplant patients, and skin cancer education, prevention, early detection, and treatment.    

Dr. Drake is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Dermatology, and the Society for Pediatric Dermatology.  She is currently Treasurer for the Nebraska Dermatologic Society and is an associate member of the Iowa Dermatologic Society.  

Dr. Drake participates in yearly volunteer skin cancer screenings and “AIM for the cure” melanoma walks.  She is also involved with legislative efforts in Nebraska to protect youth from tanning booths and visits area schools to educate youth about the importance of skin cancer prevention.  She enjoys spending time with her husband and three young children.
