Tricia L. Hultgren, M.D.
Dr. Tricia Hultgren grew up in Omaha, and obtained her undergraduate degree with Highest Distinction in Nutritional Sciences from Iowa State University. She pursued her medical degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where she was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed a one-year internship in Internal Medicine at UNMC prior to completing dermatology residency at Loyola University in Chicago, where she served as chief resident.
Dr. Hultgren is board-certified in dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Hultgren takes special interest in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She treats a wide range of skin conditions including but not limited to skin cancer, psoriasis, acne, contact dermatitis, connective tissue disease, and autoimmune bullous disorders. She is experienced in cosmetic dermatology procedures including injections of neurotoxins, fillers, and the use of cosmetic lasers. She is a fellow of the American Medical and Surgical Laser Society.
Dr. Hultgren is an adjunct professor at UNMC and often lectures to Family Medicine and Internal Medicine residents. She is active in the community and recently spearheaded an educational campaign to raise awareness of skin cancer. She speaks to local high school students throughout the year on this topic. Dr. Hultgren currently serves as Secretary of the Nebraska Dermatology Society.
