Common Conditions We Treat
Hemangiomas
Vascular growths that are common in babies. Although some babies are born with hemangiomas, they’re most likely to appear at about 2-3 weeks of life.
Port Wine Stains (PWS)
Vascular birthmarks that are present at birth and tend to persist. Many port wine stains can be treated with a series of pulsed dye laser treatments.
Nevi
Most moles or nevi are harmless but should be examined or followed. Some moles or nevi may have a small risk of melanoma skin cancer.
Atopic Dermatitis/Eczema
Atopic dermatitis is a common condition where the skin is too dry and sensitive. Commonly the skin cracks and lets in bacteria and chemicals.
Diaper Rash
Most diaper rashes can be managed by your primary care doctor. Sometimes diaper rashes become infection with bacteria or yeast.
Impetigo
Impetigo is a form of staph infection that can appear as honey-colored crusting on the face, more commonly in children.
